Karsten and his company landscaped two very tough and steep slopes. They prepared the land, updated the irrigation system, installed the irrigation system, installed the plants and added lighting to front and back yards. Karsten is even-tempered and listened to our needs. He is very professional and has been very responsive to our needs. He always responded quickly to any questions or concers we may have had. Our neighbors love the work he did for us and requested his contact information. The men that work for him are polite and do what is needed to make the customer happy. You pay for what you get. He works with your budget and does what he can to stay on or below the budget. I highly recommend Yoder Family Landscaping and will use his services again as needed.

From the moment I first called Karsten, (who owns the company) picked up his phone and was always available to talk. It is always refreshing to be able to speak to someone, especially the owner and not get a messaging system. We have had several conversations about redoing our landscaping and he was always attentive, friendly and understood our budget and needs. The design came out beautifully and the crew was so nice and hardworking. They spent two days redoing our entire front and back yard and it came out better than we anticipated. We've worked with Karsten for about three years now and he's been great. We usually call him when we have a project or want to improve something in the yard, and he always does an excellent job.
He's helped us with landscaping design, mulching, sprinkler system work, and different yard projects over the years. He has a really good eye for what will look good and what the yard needs, and everything he;s done has turned out beautifully.

Extremely satisfied customer! Karsten was great to work with from the beginning phone call to the end result. I needed help with front and back yard clean up, pruning and general upkeep at our house in Dana Point. One thing I usually find with contractors is they are hard to get in touch with and not good at communicating. Not so with Karsten. He was great picking up the phone and responding to texts. Shows up when he says he will and more importantly, does an amazing job. I strongly recommend Yoder Family Landscaping and will definitely use them again!

We are delighted with the work Karsten and his crew did for us. He installed a retaining wall in our back yard to keep a slope away from our wrought iron fence. He also replaced planter boxes for our veggie garden, constructing beautiful redwood planter boxes. He and his crew are meticulous in their work. When the retainer wall didn't go exactly as planned he was able to trouble shoot and find a solution on the spot. And even though he and his crew spent more time on the job than originally thought he stuck by his estimate. Karsten is very knowledgeable, trustworthy and easy to work with. I look forward to our next project with him.

Karsten and his crews recently helped me get my yard in shape: a long over-due and neglected project! Communication and coordination with Karsten was easy and professional. He honored my vision for the spaces, while giving me his much needed professional input. After a couple times meeting up at Plant Depot and reviewing options for our plantings, his crew came out and executed the vision. His crew was hard-working, respectful, friendly, and clean. In two days they had my main lawn area and perimeter plantings looking gorgeous as well as creating an enchanting shade garden in the walkway to the driveway ( including hanging baskets)--all planted & irrigated where there was none before. We live on a coastal canyon, so they even spent some time clearing out some of the unruly areas in our back property which is so important for general maintenance and fire protection.
